Pupils at Tong Leadership Academy are celebrating today after receiving their GCSE and BTec results.   

School staff and parents have today been celebrating with pupils as they graduate from the secondary school and take the next steps in their education or training. 

One of the school’s many high achieving pupils, Imamah Saeed received an exceptional set of GCSE and BTec results. The talented pupil achieved seven grade 9s, one grade 8, and a Distinction and A*. She now plans to study A levels in Maths, Physics, Design Technology and Religious Studies at Bradford New College. Imamah said:

“I am really happy. My parents will be really proud of my results!” 

Fellow pupil, Yousef Ibrahim only joined the school in Year 10 having moved to the UK with his family from Canada. Yousef was delighted with his results, which included four of the top grade 9s, one grade 8 and two grade 7s. He is now looking forward to continuing his studies at Dixons Sixth Form College where he will complete A levels in Maths, Chemistry, Biology and Physics. On his incredible grades, Yousef said:

“I am so pleased with my results.” 

Rebeka Shahin Mehr also achieved fantastic results in her GCSEs, including three grade 9s and four grade 8s. She is looking forward to studying for A levels in Maths, Chemistry and Biology at Bradford New College. 

Another pupil achieving top grades was Alpha Ba who was on cloud nine after securing a trio of grade 9s. Alpha, who aspires to pursue a career in engineering, will now progress to Dixons Sixth Form College where he will study A levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computer Science. 

There were double celebrations for twins Klaudia and Julia Kosikowska who both secured a clutch of top grades. After spending the last five years together at Tong Leadership Academy, the clever siblings now plan to take separate paths as Klaudia will study Geography and Science at Bradford New College, whilst Julia has secured a place to study Game Design at Shipley College.
