Sixth Form students at Tong Leadership Academy are celebrating today after receiving their A level and BTec results.

Tong’s sixth form students will now progress to a wide range of destinations, from securing apprenticeships or places to study for degrees at universities across the country to taking the first steps in their careers.

The school’s star performers include Samyah Hussain, Hammad Khan and Munibah Idris who have all secured a place at university to pursue their dream careers.

Samyah Hussain is overjoyed after securing a place at Bradford University to study Physiotherapy. The talented student achieved two grade As in A Level Criminology and Psychology, and a grade C in Biology.

Hammad Khan will also be continuing his studies at Bradford University as he looks to realise his dream of becoming a primary school teacher. Hammad achieved a Distinction and a Double Merit in BTec Health Studies at Tong and has secured a place to train as a primary school teacher at university.

Another hard working student who is delighted with her results is Munibah Idris. After securing a DDD (Triple Distinction) in BTec Health Studies, Munibah is looking forward to continuing her education at Bradford University where she plans to study Child Nursing.

Dan Styles, Principal at Tong Leadership Academy, commented, “Congratulations to all our students for achieving excellent results. I am extremely proud of their hard work and the determination they have shown to succeed.

“We are committed to providing our students with an outstanding education, and our Sixth Form students should be rightly proud of what they have achieved. I look forward to hearing about our young people’s many future successes as they continue their studies and progress in their careers. I wish all our students the very best in their future endeavours.”
